Dear Auburn Fans - we don't really hate you and nor are we jealous

In response to the very many 'haterz gonna hate' and 'you are all just jealous' comments, I wanted to try and clarify the following:

(1) Auburn is no more or less hated than any other school. Not enough to see you guys get the death penalty anyway. Had it been any other school in your place, the treatment being administered would have been no different. Actually I take that back, had Bama got into trouble the flaming would have been much worse

(2) Nobody here is jealous of you either. Look around you. Half the posters here have experienced a national championship in recent times. Some more than once. And most of them will again soon. Your success does not make anyone jealous because most of these people have 'been there and done that' and will be there again. Infact, minus the Cam gate, most fans here would have banded together and supported you in the postseason with the 'SEC' chant blaring in the background. Even some Bama fans.

(3) Therefore most people who are talking about Auburn not taking the right path in this mess actually mean it. People feel like there is sufficient suspicion of wrongdoing and Cam should have been held back in this game. This 'us against the world' attitude of yours is part of the problem - we suspect you too know all is not well but choose to hide behind this cloak of stuborness and oblivion. Nobody knows what the truth is, but there is smoke and a lot of it. You've taken a huge risk with your program and that's what is being called out.

The criticism directed your way is warranted and with basis. Again, this doesn't imply the rest of the SEC hates you or is jealous.
