If Derek Dooley was a used car dealer, he would become a millionaire in no time.

Can't believe some are offended by this because it's a war reference.
I hope from now on, every time a media personality uses the phrases "catch some flack" or "in the trenches," they get slapped in the face with a large uncooked salmon.

I'm not offended and don't think others are. It's Funny.I listened to it and it made no sense. He said something about from the Americans view wondering where Patten's Army was hidden.Pressers are entertaining sometimes.I like him as a person.Vince needs to have a Father/Son with him. This season and possibly next are gonna be rough.

Why must coaches make needlessly dramatic references? Just say what you fricking mean and don't channel your inner Winston Churchill when you're at the podium talking about collegiate athletics.
Better question, why do people get so upset over a simple analogy....?

From what I understand, it made a lot of sense. Comparing how we handle confusion or changes to how Alabama handled it. I'm not a history buff though. But Dooley majored in history as a pre-law, so I give him the benefit of the doubt.
The thing I'm worried about, is now he's not going to say shite in the presser, and we are going to have to relive the Fulmer "watch the game tape."

I went back and watched it after just hearing it and your right,it made more sense and was probably historically more accurate than I gave him credit for.Like I said I like him.
