During the October 6, 2007 game against the University of Florida, CBS recorded 130 decibels, thus making it the second loudest collegiate stadium in history, only behind Husky Stadium in Seattle, Washington.

Even more of a surprise was that the seismogram showed 15 to 20 minutes of recorded ground shaking. That’s right — 15 to 20 minutes. “It was a solid register of jubilation in the stadium,” Milner said.

when i went to the tech game in auburn i didn't think it was that loud
We were on an 04 hangover. In all seriousness though the home crowd usually doesn't cheer much when the home team turns the ball over and lets Reggie Ball look like a good QB against them.

loudest I have ever been to is Lane Stadium

Samford is my favorite SEC stadium I have been too (All minus Kentucky and Arkansas) but I haven't been to BDS since the expansion.
Between the two, i would say Jordan Hare because I have witnessed it jumping on several occasions but the one visit to LSU in 99 was a blowout and the crowd stunk that day.

Yes those chain link fences are truly unique on the college level.
If you honestly think this is what I was referring to, then you truly are a rah-tard.

But not as rah-tarded as someone who doesn't know what sarcasm is.

you really think that jordan-hare is louder? I mean I have never seen a game at auburn soooo I really can't argue too much but, there aren't many stadiums that are as loud as death valley fwiw
I haven't been to either stadium, but I've generally heard that Tiger Stadium is louder, but that Jordan-Hare is also very loud. The crowd seemed incredibly loud after the last catch in the 2007 game.

I wonder why? that year we were
3-8 overall
1-7 in SEC
We nearly lost to San Jose State, and we did lose to Houston that year

jhs has lovely techno music pumping in it. it gives you a nice jersey shore feel on the plains.
at the aubbie fans claiming to be louder since stats prove we are louder

TS and JHS are much louder than BDS. Anyone here except bama fans will agree.

I've heard that, and I've heard stuff about decibal recordings backing that up. I'm not really buying that, though. The Cal fans that came to Neyland in 2006 seemed to think Neyland was considerably louder than Autzen and Washington, and their quarterback's comments after the game seemed to back that up.

How many here have been to Bama since they've added on? Serious question. I'm not sure how much louder it is this year.

i answered the question in my honest opinion
i don't know why people get all bitchy when they dont like answers
i said i like yalls food...other than that TS didnt live up to the hype i had been told bout
plus i was like 10 rows up at TS so its not like i was at the top where there was no noise

You know they pipe the crowd noise in, don't you?

i wasn't getting bitchy just stating that the science and stats prove you wrong.
