Dumbass had us on upset alert last week.
By the way, I am pretty convinced they start each week and decide who will pick who in the big match ups since it would be pretty damn boring if they always agreed on everything.

I used to think that but Herby has downgraded Florida many times since then. I don't think he is a florida homer at all. I believe he is level headed about every team except OSU.

Not really. He seems to always be on UF's nuts after they beat OSU and he was totally embarrassed after talking all kinds of s*** about UF. I think he feels a little guilt for putting UF down so bad, and then he was embarrassed by his talk and the result.

ESPN has always been filled with Big Ten lackeys who don't particularly care for the SEC outside of Florida. Most of them only play nice because a ton of people from the south watch their games which makes them a ton of revenue. Deep down, most of them are not happy about the SEC's success.

What's wrong with this pick?
Bama and Florida have traded wins the last two years and both have identical records since 2008. Both lost some valuable players in the offseason, and both have shown flashes of brilliance and flashes of boneheadism.
Bama's win over Arky was probably the most impressive win between the two, but then again, the Gators demolished UK and beat Tennessee on the road.
Bama's rushing offense looks more impressive than anything the Gators have done offensively, but the Gators D looks stronger than Bama's early in the season.
I'm expecting a tough, defensive struggle. A final score of 17-13 wouldn't surprise me with either team winning.
I like the pick of Florida. It shows me that at least he's thinking about it instead of just picking Alabama because they are ranked No. 1 and won the title last year.
