You still haven't answered my question but I'm guessing you're shitfaced tonight because none of your post so far have made a lick of sense, so I'll let it slide

Demar Dorsey would have made it in? Fail...

Meyer......Is he ranked so high because of past success? We find out Saturday
A loss on Saturday to the heavily favored number 1 team in American on the road with the current Heisman winner, the best coach in CFB and with the best OL and WR and 2nd best RB in the game would change your mind???

11. Mullen, could very easily be as high as 6-7, just haven't seen enough to convince me yet
You really think that Houston Nutt has done a better coaching job than Dan Mullen in losing to D-1AA Jacksonville State and Vandy at home???? State lost to number 10 Auburn at home by 3 and AT Tiger Stadium AT NIGHT to number 12 LSU. Honestly what do you expect of Mullen? Him to be 4-0 and have blown out LSU and Auburn
This list is full of FAIL!

great coaches don't fail anywhere
I guess Kiffy isn't a great coach (although you are still sucking on his nuts) because he has failed everywhere he has been so far.

hogSS, your list sucks. Nutt above Chizik? Give me a fricking break.

6. Dooley....Not sure why, but I really think he is a good one
7. Richt...things aren't looking good, but I think Bobo is a BIG part of his problems
8. Nutt....good god, i have been dealing with this man for half my life and still can't figure him out
9. Phillips....See #6
10. Spurrier...think he has lost it (pulling his starter on the last drive only reinforces my thoughts)
Dooley has accomplished nothing. Richt and Nutt and Spurrier have all won at least an SEC division championship. Spurrier has won nat champ games. PLURAL.
Your vote for Dooley parallels women voting for handsome candidates for high office.
Spurrier has been pulling QB's for years. Nothing new here.

I am really surprised by the Vol nation hatred for Dooley
No hate on this end. It would be very tough for any coach to be successful with the depth situation Tennessee has right now. Yeah, this recruiting class doesn't look great now, but there's still time left and Tennessee seems to always be late bloomers. Personally, I like the guy.

I agree, if we don't give Dooley at least 4 years.
I will lose all hope in our athletic department. We need stability more than anything else right now.

What national title games are you referring to? Spurrier played in only two bowl games that determined the national title, in 95 and 96, going 1-1 (People forget he was actually very lucky in 1996- he lost to FSU the last game of the season and had several teams ahead of him lose to even get in that game. Ohio St. Lost to Michigan in the final week then upset undefeated Arizona State 20-17. Had Arizona St. won that game, Spurrier would have never won a title at all. also, had Ohio St. not lost to a 7-3 Michigan team, then the Sugar bowl that year would have meant NOTHING. The Rose Bowl would have featured two undefeated teams and would have by proxy been the national title game)

Because his starter fumbled twice and he was worried about him hurting himself constantly lowering his head. (HBC explained his decision in an article on GoGamecocks but it's a pay site so no link). His decision was just fine, IMO. FWIW, Shaw played fairly well that last drive.
I'd have to disagree, I'll put SOS at 5-6 at this point. He's WAY better than 10th.

Mullen at 11 is pretty terrible IMO. If you are gonna rank the coaches, rank them by who you would want to run your program.
1. Saban is obviously first
2. After him, in no particular order, Meyer, Mullen, Spurrier,
3. Petrino, Chiz
4. Dooley, Richt, Phillips
5. Nutt, Caldwell, Miles

no.....just no.
On your list alone....I'd put Mullen in between the Petrino/Chiz and the Dooley/Richt/Phillips spots.

I'm perfectly aware that its very homerish and I don't care.

As long as it's admitted homerism.....i'm ok with it.

What exactly has he done that's so impressive? He's an average coach at best. He failed in the Big XII, great coaches don't fail anywhere. He may win a lot of regular season games as long Malzahn's there, but I'd be more than shocked if he ever won anything of significance at AU.
Might want to knock saban down a few notches then.
