Yes, but Bama's ground game runs the clock. I still can't believe Bama passed the ball so much. It was almost their undoing.

We have very good receivers, rbs that are very good at receiving, solid tight ends, and an efficient qb.

Bama is going to pass a lot this year, coach.

I am shocked at the Gump responses to this thread.

the way Alabama fans and all the media have portrayed Florida as this medicore team.

that is because too many of you buy into the stereotypes portrayed by a very small minority of Bama fans here. Most of which dont believe what they type but are childish enough to think pissing everyone off is funny.

I've said all along that Florida played like shite early on. I never thought they were a bad team, they just hadn't executed well. I'm ready for a battle this weekend.

I'm concerned about McElroy throwing the ball, no mistakes are gonna fly with UF's secondary.

Anybody who thinks UF is mediocre needs their head examined. JMO

Does Meyer even call the offensive plays? Regardless, I think Petrino is a better offensive mind than Meyer anyway.

We will have to have a solid gameplan, almost flawless execution, and the team will have to show up ready to play. It will definitely be tough to go on the road and beat the Bammers...but yeah, if we take care of business in the East we can also have a rematch in ATL.

UF is not mediocre, but they've played like it at times. They didn't score any against Miami (OH) in the 1st qtr. S. Fla was driving to take the lead in the 3rd when the qb threw a pick. It was 7-3 at half against Tennessee. And I think a lot of their points came off turnovers. Not every team they play is gonna turn the ball over a lot.

No, our playcaller is Steve Addazio. Our offense consists of two plays. The Dive, and the Fake-Dive.

Exactly...after the way UF played against UK and seeing USC lose i honestly believe this is only Round 1 of a Two round game this year. With round 2 concluding in Atl

It has nothing to do with how Bama fans have portrayed Florida, almost everyone has been a bit underwhelmed with them so far. But everyone knows they still have big time athletes, especially on the defensive side of the ball. I'd be pretty shocked if this was an easy win.

But they don't have more weapons than Arkansas. Florida's still got WR issues.

That is kind of how I see it. I don't think anyone would be that surprised if we lost to Florida.

umm....no. you have done it for us the last several weeks by saying Auburn is going to get creamed now that they are playing a "real team".

+1

Something is fishy with the line coming out Bama -9.

This should be a great game. I feel like either team could lose and go all the way or win and not be in Atlanta in Dec. Regardless of the outcome Bama is going to be beat down headed into Columbia the following week.

agreed. i do believe there are a few select people that hate bama's success so much that they want us to BE upset and melt down no matter what... so they want us to think it's some kind of major upset.

guys, this is florida. not like it's auburn or something ;) it may be the first time we've been picked to win in a while vs them (unless we were picked for last year's SECCG, can't remember)...
