SEC team with biggest inferiority complex?

Another thread got me to thinking... what team's fanbase in our conference has the BIGGEST inferiority complex?

I would probably argue Auburn for an absolute multitude of reasons... but then you got Ole Miss, you got Arkansas that needs to prove themselves to the SEC with an SECCG win, you got USCe, you got UGA.... ALL these teams need/want desperately to make some serious championship noise.

I think the only ones that can be excluded from this conversation are LSU, Bama, UF and UT. (UT only gets excluded because they have a -serious- history. but they're definitely desperate right now)

We may want

But I don't think our fan base comes off as having an inferiority complex about it.

Ole Miss

ETA: Arkansas has been to Atlanta and has made the SEC Championship game...they've even gone to Omaha on several occasions. They also have a national title in basketball and a runner up finish. Although Auburn hasn't won a national title in the Big 3, they have won SEC Championships and have two undefeated seasons in football the last 20 years.

But Ole Miss has yet to make Atlanta and hasn't made it to Omaha in decades. Mississippi State has done both and even has made it to the final four in the last 15 years. Everytime it looks like Ole Miss has a team that can make a run--regardless of the sport, they falter. But their fans keep believing it's their year. So if anyone has an inferiority complex, I would think it would be Ole Miss.

Paging Tiger in Cuba.

Seriously though, the only two correct answers to this can be Auburn or Ole Miss.

I think someone needs to define "inferiority complex" for this discussion to continue.

Easy. We AU folk have the biggest inferiority complex.

Ole Miss is just inferior. Nothing complex about it.

they will be REALLY desperate in a couple of years.
Right now, they are feeling relief, and hope.

That's an easy question. Auburn. No matter how much they brag or how many 5* they get, or how many games they win the entire college football world still see's them as second fiddle in the state of Alabama. Nothing they have ever done or will ever do has or will change that.
