McFadden/Jones had more APY than any duo in the history of college football, and did it in only 3 years.
Throw in Peyton Hillis as their FB and I think you have your answer.
Oh, and let's not forget their 4th string back, and future SEC 1st teamer, Michael Smith.
There's never been a 4-deep with that much production and honors....EVER.
(But if they have to win a NC to have that honor, they do not fit the mold)

And by the way, Ronnie Brown doesn't have the numbers to be a Top 10 back in the SEC-2000's, let alone be considered one of the great all-time college backs.

For Tennessee, the Jamal Lewis/Travis Henry/ Travis Stephens tandom was pretty productive.

Doc Blanchard and Glenn Davis aka Mr. Inside & Mr. Outside
No tandem will ever touch what they accomplished...

I'm betting Ingram and Richardson will one day be somewhere in that list.

Someone show me production that trumps the 4 deep of McFadden/Jones/Hillis/Smith.
It can't be done.

Take that Bama group off. LAcy has not even taken a snap yet and Richardson has played sparingly.

3 years undefeated
97 comnbined TDs(Broke by Bush & White)
2 NCAA Records still owned by Davis

If a Heisman and a NC are the measuring stick, my guys do not qualify and can be removed from the discussion. McFadden was only a 2 time also-ran.
If you're talking production alone, and/or anything shy of a Heisman and NC, well, my guys are back on top and it isn't even close.
