Book it.
In football Saban and company were able to back out of playing the Jackets since they were afraid of Coach Paul Johnson and our unstoppable Perfect Option. However, there will be no backing down on the diamond tonight in Midtown Atlanta.
There's a reason the Jackets are the No. 8 national seed and we'll be marching on towards Omaha after tonight.
Suck it bammers!

quote:True. It's because Ray Tanner pitched his #3 guy against Ole Miss in the SEC tourney. Had USC gone deeper in the tournament, USC would have been the #8 instead of GaTech. So was GaTech just toying with Alabama last night when the tide skull drug them all over Atlanta last night?
there's a reason the Jakets are the No. 8 national seed

Georgia Tech is going down. Great hitting is nullified by elite pitching, and I'm not sure what Alabama has left but everyone they do throw seems to be in the zone.

It's ironic that a fan of the last school to back out of the SEC because they were afraid of the competition would post such a comment. Tech, in essence, backed out of playing the likes of Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, and Auburn EVERY year. What a shame; you were once a highly regarded program.

My dad got his CE degree at Georgia Tech, went on to be CEO of 4 different companies.... and he's STILL a die hard Alabama fan.
frick GT.

Bama... just throw a lefty out there on the mound tonite... I believe Tech's 6 left-handed hitting starters are a cumulative 4 for 5,678 in their last 5,678 at bats against left-handed pitching.....

Bama is a football school (that takes their championship trophy on tours of Wal-Marts around the state).
That is all.

Tech will NEVER have to worry about what stores to show their championship trophies in...but they probably would choose Radio Shack.
