if Florida wants mullen then he is gone. He would be crazy to pass on the uf job if offered.

Did you see my question on the OT?

yes i believe mullen is a man of his word and he is extremely excited about the program and players he has coming up.
sorry pal but you're a massive fricking retard if you believe he'd stay in starkville over the UF job. shite massive retard doesn't even begin to describe how dumb that belief would be. You realize every coach at a small job tells the fan base he's happy and wants to be there long term?

How is the Oklahoma job better than the Florida job?

he just got here, and imo i don't see him leaving for at least 5 years.

a head coaching job in the SEC west is not a small coaching job. i would consider tulane or uab a small coaching job but not Mississippi State.

Why? You realize Miss St is a stepping stone job right? And you realize Florida is a premier job(if not the premier job)? Hell, the past few years he spent more time at Florida than he has at State.

simple - they don't have to run the SEC gauntlet year in and year out

They have to deal with Texas and that's it.

ok I'll give you mid level. Barely
that doesn't change the fact that Florida is an elite job and if he's given a serious offer he's gone
you can't compete with UF monetarily or talent wise. You're setting yourself up for massive disappointment if you believe otherwise

I understand that but he's not gonna leave after his 1st year!

If Florida offers Mullen a contract, he'll leave. I'll bet you just about anything.

the only way Mullen "turns down" this job is if he doesn't get a serious look, so he quickly issues a save face statement saying he has no interest in leaving MSU and is extremely happy

Dude, Im a state fan and I'd leave MSU for UF, If they want him, he's gone. That said, I don't think they come after him. They can do better.
