This is not a physical comparison but just a general comparison taking into account personality, history, and stereotypes. Its all completely in jest with little bits of similarity at the core. If you don't know much about politics this may not mean much to you but here we go.
Les Miles - friendly and likeable; overachieved and accomplished so much that it sometimes makes you wonder just how he did it; poor speaker; accused of being not so bright which is probably unfair; capable of making the colossal mistake; generally unpopular among his own constituents but has plenty of loyal followers; down to earth guy that you would want to hang out with; gets crapped on and blamed for a lot, some of which may be unfair; so:
Les Miles
=
George W. Bush
Bobby Petrino - brilliant offensive mind; untrustworthy; will screw you and throw you and former colleagues under the bus; smooth talker behind the scenes; generally disliked by people; so:
Bobby Petrino
=
John Edwards
Houston Nutt - wily; when you think he's dead he comes back and kills you; survivor; overachiever who somehow keeps winning; crafty; will drive even his fans crazy and make you worry about what he will leave behind; so:
Houston Nutt
=
Bill Clinton
Dan Mullen - new guy on the scene with a good background; early performance makes you take him seriously after thinking about it; so:
Dan Mullen
=
Lindsey Graham
Gene Chizik - old face who has been on the scene for a while; initial thoughts proved underwhelming but he is a survivor with depth to him; overshadowed by other leaders and may not get the respect he deserves; so:
Gene Chizik
=
Joe Lieberman
Nick Saban - good, solid coach who knows fundamentals; control freak who calls the shots regardless of what titles other people hold; ruthless and cold blooded; unsocial; seemingly devoid of human emotion other than the occasional violent outburst of anger; inspires fear; unlikeable; many despise him but those that despise him usually respect him; doesn't really care what anyone thinks of him; hardass; so:
Nick Saban
=
Dick Cheney
Urban Meyer - methodical; smart; inspires hope; even-tempered and makes you feel like he is in control even though he may not; disciplined; entered following a turbulent period with the purpose of changing and re-establishing a great power; so:
Urban Meyer
=
Barack Obama
Mark Richt - cool and steady; keeps winning and runs things in a generally smooth manner; honorable and religious; under control; generally overlooked by some of his flashier or more controversial peers; some wonder whether he is capable of taking the next step and winning it all; so:
Mark Richt
=
Mitt Romney
Steve Spurrier - grizzled veteran; successful; people will know his name forever; personable and entertaining; some wonder whether his greatest successes are behind him; so:
Steve Spurrier
=
Rudy Giuliani
Lane Kiffin - newcomer; no real record of worth; brash; annoying; makes a lot of enemies because of what he says and what he stands for; looked upon as a breath of fresh air by his followers; some like his outspoken, me against the world attitude; so:
Lane Kiffin
=
Sarah Palin
Rich Brooks - respected coaching veteran who is a consistent winner and role model; never won it all though; completely non-flashy and uncharismatic; so:
Rich Brooks
=
John McCain
Bobby Johnson - another respected elder statesman who is respected and admired for what he had to go through; while maybe not a winner in terms of victories on the field, a winner in life and in the eyes of his supporters; outgunned; so:
Bobby Johnson
=
Bob Dole

Pretty solid.
It's a shame when the first person I thought of with whom to compare Miles was GWB.
On a side note, can't wait for those pics that former Alaska First Dude Todd took of Sarah to surface. There has got to be some.

I think he carried Florida last year, didn't he? I'm sure there are a lot of people in Gainesville who like the comparison.
But I understand what you mean.

Suprisingly, those are more accurate than I imagined.
The Lame = Palin is dead on.

As a card carrying member of the Obama was born in Iran club, I'm not a fan of this thread.

Urban Meyer would fit in perfectly with this family.

These were all accurate and I loved the Kiffin/Palin and Brooks/McCain connections. Very nice job.

Too bad you said Politician...As a TN fan, right now I'm thinking Lane Kiffin = Peter Griffin because he HAS to be mentally retarded.
