From Chris Low's blog:

quote:

Kiffin told reporters that he expects this kind of scrutiny because the Vols are recruiting so well.

"I think that any time you're operating at the level we're operating at in recruiting, people are going to come after us," Kiffin said. "So people are going to question what we're doing."

Kiffin said he has not had any contact with NCAA investigators and expressed confidence that nothing would come out of this probe.

"People will always try to take shots at us," Kiffin said. "They will always try to bring us down, but it won't matter."

Being humble is not part of Kiffin's MO. He will live and die by the shite he talks.

The day he walks into his office and sees his wife getting plowed by some of those big bucks on the team.

Better spend more time in the "good book".

With all the boasting what can he possibly say after a couple of disappointing seasons except maybe "next year" or will he lay blame at someone else's fee...wait didn't he already do that with the Raiders.

Yet, the other big schools in the SEC are recruiting well and you don't hear this many accusations levied against them. Lane simply thinks everyone is after Tennessee?

He cannot be humbled as he is. He's a spoiled brat. And he truly doesn't understand the concept. Every time I even think of that guy I feel so thankful that I'm not like him. I really do think beating him, not just UT, will add to the level of enjoyment in ways I can't describe.

From Fulmer to Kiffin! Lolololol

Just because he's paranoid doesn't mean it's not true.
People don't respect Kiff because he hasn't EARNED it.

Humble and Kiffin should never be used in the same sentence.

And Kiffin will say that is 'more exposure' for him and his program.

Who fricking cares, everyday there is a new fricking thread about kiffin and how shitty of a coach he is. Fine you all are right, worst coach ever. To the bama fans you all are the best, to the gator fans you all are the best. UT will never beat you guys again, ever. You all should be college football head coaches because you all know more than anyone else congrats

He will have to fail miserably ext year with no one to blame it on and be fired. Unlike his Father Kiffin seems to be a guy that can't take the blame for anything. Saban did this last year after the Utah debacle but unlike Kiffin he doesn't constantly get his name scrutinized because for the most part he keeps his mouth shut. Kiffin turned Crompton into a qb so it's not his coaching everyone questions it's his attitude and integrity.
When he learns to just coach and shut up he will be fine Bama stays in the spot light but Saban does it with winning and not flapping his gums.

I see things I like, I see things I don't like. I just love that every day a new topic has been started about how he is the worst coach ever and how he is a fricking retard. A lot of people here are throwing stones in a glass house, and when it shatters I will laugh and let it be. I don't agree with everything he has done nor do I defend him in his actions, but at least we made it to a bowl game this year. Things have been rocky for the past eight years or so. Just like most fans around here I don't believe in moral victories we should be winning games and competing for a top spot. Time will tell I guess

You actually believe that the other SEC schools are SO scared of UT's football program that impending violations are the ONLY way to stop that "freight train?"

You're silly. I like you. In that way, yes.
