on Auburn's final drive if we got a TD...

``Just so you know it,'' Chizik told his team, ``if we score, we're gonna go for two and win that sucker. Just so you know how much I believe in who you are.''

not that it matters now

It's like Leo says beav, "Don't worry, Chizik knows what he is doing".

Easy to say that after the fact. Question is, if it had played out like that and Auburn ended up losing by one point due to a missed two point try, how many Auburn fans would be up in arms about this?

Then shouldn't he have said, WHEN we score?

That would have been dumb as hell. Risk the game and a better bowl on a 2 pt. conversion?

I think the comment from CGC came in the Auburn locker room after the game was over. He was saying _if_ they had scored the touchdown to make it 31-30, as opposed to making the comment on the sideline during the game.

ahhh.. gotcha. I thought he said it while they were on the sideline tending to the Ga player. My bad.

well Chizik also seemed prepared to miss that 2 point conversion because on the sideline Wes Byrum was practicing onside kicks with only like a minute left...they kept bouncing and going into the Auburn section...

It could be Cheznick knew his players couldn't win in a OT. Hmmm.....

No some coaches use it to show faith, also when you are dog tired and on the road you can take some risks.

did you watch the 4th quarter?....

it would've been the right call, IMO... too bad it didn't come to that.

I agree. UGA would have had the advantage going against the Auburn defense during an overtime. Going for two would have been the right call, but oh well, didn't happen.

Apparently, Chinkznikz is trying to prove that he will be the anti-Pat 'Tie' Dye.
