Are the conspiracy theorists watching the replay on CST?

this game was badly officiated on both sides. there were lots of judgment calls (or should I say no-calls) on both sides. LSU's penalties were mostly the obvious self-induced penalties. refs missed the INT call, though.

It's the only call that was missed but it was a big one, so I see the gripe, but some of these people are going to take it to the grave.

the ones that take it to their grave are only making themselves look silly. It was a bad call, they happen. They gave up the third-down conversion the very next play.

If being upset at a bad call that cost your team a chance at an SEC and possible National championship is silly, call me silly britches.

It wasn't the only one.. there's a freaking thread with all the missed calls, did you miss that?
I'll go ahead and say that the hold on LSUs TD run, and the block in the back on Julios TD catch were equal (even if the hold was far less significant). I think it's just homerism to say that the calls went both ways.. they undeniably went in Bamas favor. That's how the ball bounces sometimes.

coaching cost us the game. The fact we can't get players on the field before snap is embarrassing. The INT should not have been a factor. Kid who ran into punter should not even been on field.

there are bad calls every game for both sides. it just so happens that when the SEC refs make bad calls, they are really bad calls at the worst possible time.
not to mention the calls that did/did not go against bama weren't near the serverity as they were lsu (block in the back on a td and inc. pass on int)

just wondering what you all are going to take to your graves? as an old Cajun (remember the great lil $abonis quip aout those coonasses?) lady told me onec: you will always weaken whenever you go exagerating and lieing about things. Well if that is the case the cast of Bummer (Pink Elephants fans & Club) are the weakest link in the South period.
And try to have yourself another lying and crying day in Tuskerloserville and BurninHam? Geaux Maroon &

I think that most of the posters would admit that judgement calls can be missed, and are missed alot of times. However, when it's 14 penalties to 2 (as it was in 2007) then the "judgement" becomes questioned.
As for last Saturday alone, most of the criticism that I have heard has been like this, "I realize that judgement calls in real time speed are missed, that happens, but the replay official missing an obvious call is inexcusable."

Can we see the pics you are referring to that went LSU's way?

Terrible block in the back was missed on Julio's long run. I cannot believe more people have not spoke up about this. It occurred right in front of the ref. Oh well, that is football in the state of Alabama.

The reason why this is infuriating the LSU fans is that UGA got an apology after the bad calls and all we get is arrogant comments that there is nothing wrong.
Admitting the mistake would not change a thing. Bama won the game and likely would have won even if the call would have gone our way. Can't see why the SEC won't defuse this thing and just admit the mistake.

bullshite he didnt even change his direction. You have to be looking for an excuse to even think that effected the play at all. Taylor's tackling is for shite and that aint Carpenter's fault. The int was the only call that I saw that should have been reversed.

was the helmet crown spear into JJ chest a legal hit or missed call?

What year was it that the LSU defender pushed Bamas receiver down in the endzone and made the int.?

can't remember the year - but i do remember some alabama whining about the lack of a pass interference call

That was in 2006. And it happened on the east side of the SEZ, right in front of Bama fans.
What no one ever says about that play is, both the Bama receiver and the LSU DB are entitled to the ball - they both went up for the ball at the same time. The LSU DB intercepted it, the Bama receiver, who was also going for the ball at the same time that the LSU DB was, was knocked down.
Please explain how that is interference.
The LSU DB did not hit the Bama receiver early, he went for the ball (which he was entitled to do, and knocked the receiver down AT THE SAME TIME that the receiver went up for the ball, not BEFOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORE.
PERIOD.

I love Alabama fans saying how the LSU fans won't leave it alone. Who started this post?
