You going to the game Beaver? I think Auburn wins this one close, similar to the UT game.

Did y'all really give up 30 points to Furman?
Were they trash points in the 4th quarter?

I think Auburn kills Georgia this weekend and it will be the final straw for Richt.
He will get fired because of this weekend.

It was 42-3 at halftime. Then the scrubs came in. Our depth is really just piss poor.

31 actually...only 3 on our first team defense and that was because of dumb early penalties...we were playing wide receivers at defensive back in the second half just to see what would happen...and a white 5'8" walk on at DB...it was cute

28 points in the 2nd half vs. the 2nd stringers... to say the least, we are not a very deep team, especially defensively.
We also turned the ball over a couple times in the 2nd half that led to 14 points.
It was 42-3 at the half against our 1st teamers.

Also their points came off a few really dumb mistakes (such as Frenchie muffing the punt inside the 10)

Interesting. I saw the score flash on the espn bottom line and didn't know what to make of it.

Since neither team has a defense, it might be a fun game to watch. Whether or not UGA can win will likely depend on whether Green and Houston are back on the field.

It's gonna be a high scoring game IMO. I think UGA will take it late.

The Bulldogs could lose out and Richt would still not lose his job. He will be here next year, but some of his staff will not be.

I'm not sure what to think of this game, other than I believe it'll be an old fashioned shootout.

I think that if the defense from the first half of the Ole Miss game shows for Auburn, we are in trouble. If the defense from the rest of the year shows up, we are ok, and have a very good shot to win the game.
Richt isnt going anywhere, even if it is bad. He will be allowed to start over with a fresh staff, or so my crackerjack sources tell me. Of course they could be full of shite, but I think that will be the case.

It won't get bad in this game, it will stay close. Dooley hired Richt and he will make sure Richt gets another year. DC is gone for sure though, he has been around for too long.
I think Auburn wins by 8

It is odd to me that the majority of people that seem to think Richt is going to be canned are fans of other schools. Most UGA fans recognize that Richt MUST make changes if he wants to be successful, but that he has earned the right to have the chance to do so (not all UGA fans purport to feel this way of course, but it is easy to spout off at the mouth on an internet message board without any plan of your own going forward).
8-4 (or 7-5, 6-6, 5-7, whatever record we end up with) is not going to cut it for many seasons for UGA fans now that we expect 10 wins at the least, but anyone thinking that Richt is going to, or should be, fired after one such season is not, in my opinion, correct.
That said, while disappointed with our season, I recognize that we have lost to some very good teams. We've lost to 3 ranked teams, one of which we were competitive with until the last whistle blew. We certainly laid an egg agaist UT. I am not ready to say the sky is falling and do not think that any other UGA fan should feel that way.

uga has been all over the map this year. i have no earthly idea what to expect outta this game. it would be very nice to notch 4 in a row vs. au. never seen us do that before.
this is such an under rated rivalry. oldest in the deep south. 112 games and there is a 2 game and 49 point differential between the teams. lots of mutual au/uga connections. and frequently barnburners with surprising outcomes.

I really think this might be one of the classiest rivalries in the country, not too much shite talking or hating going on. Its more about tradition than anything.

I think Georgia wins this one. I just get the feeling Richt will turn it around and win out.

Agreed. Of all of our rivalry games, I look forward to this one the most in terms of interaction with opposing fans. Unless you run into some jackass (from either fan base, we all have them), fans of these teams tend to enjoy the tradition that the schools share.
