Congrats Georgia on your victory over OSU......

Meh. Should be injury-free when he's a first-round pick.

Did the meeting occur prior to the UGA/OSU game?
Are we 4-1?

does this mean we have to admit that LSu is better than we thought they were since they beat a 4-1 GA team?

You wish. I think when a win is vacated it just disappears from your record like it never happened. The Bama fans here can probably confirm this since they are intimately familiar with this process.
Sweet, so we are 3-1?

Chalk up another victory for the SEC against the Little 12.

If they played him while ineligible that means sanctions. Which means the wins will probably be vacated as if the game was never played, doesn't go as a loss or win for either team.

I don't know if it's done differently for ineligible players as opposed to other violations, or if it's just done differently today, but that's what happened back in 1981.

so I'm guessing this former NFL player had his former NFL agent in tow? There really needs to be some way to punish agents who do this. Maybe through the NFLPA, like any agent found messing with a college player can not represent a member of the NFLPA. who knows if something like that would hold up in court.

Just checked some OSU boards expecting to see some meltdowns...they are either surprisingly calm or in denial. Most of them do not believe this. They are saying he is not going to be ineligible for the rest of the season, referencing Bryant's comments on his facebook page as sources.
There was an interesting discussion among some of the pokes: why is Bryant ineligible for meeting with an NFL player while it is fine for McKnight to meet with Reggie Bush? If I remember correctly, didn't McKnight and Bush just talk a lot over the phone? I don't remember hearing that they actually met in person.

With that thinking, I'm surprised he didn't play for Bama. dumbazz......

I think the rule book says that as long as the NFL player attended the same school it is ok to talk to him, but who knows.
