I f we played this week Bama would beat Au based on what I have seen and the matchups, but a long time until Nov so we will see.

As an Auburn fan it pains me to say this, but if they played now (and if they play in November without any major injuries taking key players out) Bama would beat Auburn and probably by two scores at least.
As an Auburn fan, I am happy so far. We are 3-0 with a game against Ball State upcoming and Furman down the road for Homecoming. That should mean we win at least 5 games this year, and with a little luck in the remaining SEC games get at least 6 wins. Six wins would better last year's record and maybe shut up those who continually hung on CHizik's 5-19 record because guess what, he bested that in one season.
The game last night wasn't pretty, but WVU isn't as bad as some would like to believe. The reason they struggled with Liberty was the same thing that bit them last night - turnovers - and most deep in Liberty territory. The Auburn defense played sloppy and didn't tackle well, I admit that. However, the Neer QB was huge and wouldn't go down. How many times did AU have him behind the line just to have him bounce off a hit and make yardage or get off a pass?

I agree PJ.
This Auburn teams lacks alot of things, but Chizik seems to have given them alot of heart.
They would have given up last year and I really loved the way they scrap.
We will lose some games this year, but I think we can win 7 or 8, if we get lucky.
Anyway, Auburn is fun to watch again.

Congrats to Auburn, Looks like you are back to...
A Tubberville coached team could never bounce back from 21-10...
Thats a damn lie...Remember that year yall went undefeated (2004 I believe) we had you down 21-0 at the half and Jason Campbell lead the comeback win. Ears was a good coach...you guy's are still going to miss him I think.

The reason AU won last night is because the WVU QB has the mental awareness of Jerrell Powe.

But, their defense is putrid. We'll get 45 or more on 'em. Easy.

There were a lot of bad calls in that game. Several P.I. noncalls ticked me off last night. There were two times our receivers were tackled before the ball got to them but those weren't called. One was a critical down play and it was over the line for a first down. Coleman was held almost the entire game, that said we got away with two as well but still that bothered me.
Thier QB is a beast. Coleman and others had him behind the LOS I counted 7 times that could/would have been a sack in normal field conditions with a normal QB they just couldn't drag him down without a proper form tackle he's a beast.
