LSU has 6 in baseball, 6 in track, 4 in golf, and even if we count their 3 in football. the count is 24 since 1992 for Arkansas, and 19 all time for LSU. Arkansas> LSU in national championships

um... you forgot a few.

LSU has 46 team national championships... 42 are recognized by the NCAA. So we'll go with 42.

ETA: Where in the hell did you come up with your number?

still wondering where you came up 19 total national titles for LSU...

I'm assuming that you are counting women's sports in with that to come up with 46, because I sure don't see 46 men's national championships for LSU.

LSU. Cause LSU and Florida have been carrying the rest of you losers in the SEC for almost a decade now.

Arkansas. It's hard in the SEC. Real hard. What Coach did there is impressive. Glad to have him. Real glad.

Of course it is, but generally it's considered to be a separate dept. Mens and Womens as any reasonable person would tell you.

generally? you mean by financing? or simply by sex?

Do 'reasonable' schools have two sets of national titles? One for mens' titles and another for womens? Having worked in an Athletics department, I'm very curious as to what you mean by this.

Holy balls!

Looking at the NCAA champions posted by AlwysATgr is crazy! Talk about PAC10 domination!

Yeah, they've definitely dominated. Conference of Champions indeed. I would be interested to see how thenumbers change if football is added though. I'm not sure the ratio would change or not.

Right now, it's Tennessee for hiring Kiffen.

Over the long haul, obviously Bama.

Wrong. Arkansas has 43 in track, no other school in the SEC comes close. We're number 5 overall for total national championships, number one in the SEC

Cross country and other long races are Hogs forte.Mostly out of state and foreign athletes.More kids from La. have earned points for Hog track team than native Arkansans!

They have strong traditions and usually field pretty good teams.
