Al Woods (if he does nothing this year)

The fact he's played for 3 years and now will start means he's done better than Xavier Carter.

Houston Nutt. Coming out of high school Nutt thought he was some sort of Joe Namath reincarnate. Nutt was even recruited by the Bear, supposedly. He couldn’t hack it at Arkansas under Holtz so he slinked off in the middle of the night to transfer to OSU. Nutt didn’t even have the guts to tell Holtz to his face so he had his daddy call Lou for him.
This is from Wikipedia: Disappointed by his lack of playing time, Nutt transferred to Oklahoma State University and played two years as a backup quarterback. During his time at Oklahoma State he also played for the basketball team. Nutt graduated from Oklahoma State in 1981 with a degree in physical education.

Dontae Walker: Had two good years in 1999 and 2000, his weight ballooned and he was a bust his last two seasons.
Todd Jordan: This wasn't really his fault though. He was a 5-star calliber HS pro-style QB out of Tupelo who was recruited by schools such as Miami, but came to MSU when Rocky was the HC. Well, after one season, Rocky is fired and in comes Sherrill, who didn't run a pro-style offense. Jordan becomes a mostly back-up QB and punter the rest of his career. I guess his shining moment was starting against OM in 1993 when we beat them 20-13.

Thought about him but he at least had some good years. it was when he was trying to play RB at 300 pounds.

And yet Jackie kept giving him touches in 2001 and 2002 when we had Dicenzo Miller, Jerious Norwood and Fred Reid as other options.

It's hard to find a true "bust" for state. The bust either got overshadowed by overall poor play or when State was winning, we didnt' have very many star players.

Perriloux, hands down

How is this? The dude is still a true freshman at UA. He hasn't even completed his redshirt freshman year yet. You guys expect too much.
The right answer for UA is Albert Means. 150K for nothing.

Chris Donald is the first to come to mind. 5 star number 1 rated Linebacker in the 07 class. Hasn't seen the field and will probably never see the field. UT is littered with recuiting busts.

Speaking of AF2...I saw in the Sunday paper where the Pillsbury Throw Boy (Jarred Lorenzen-former UK QB) plays for an AF2 team out of Ky.

Isn't he just a sophomore?
He can turn it around.

Brent Schaeffer may be another thread. Busts at multiple schools

Xavier Carter wins this battle with RP taking a close second. I would call it a tie except XC keeps coming into BR to hang out, and each time he does it seems like some more of our players get into some trouble.
