What player at your school has come in with the most hype and lived up to none of it?

we haven't had enough highly rated players to have one recently, but it's coming.
ETA: Nikita Stover was actually highly rated IIRC, so maybe him.

Tyler Love is only a RS Frosh this year, but he hasn't done squat so far - to have been a highly touted 5* recruit.

Marquis Elmore (5 star DE), but it was due to injury mostly
Brandon Miller (5 star LB), due to being played out of position and being a little "soft", imo. He shoulda had his hand down and been a DE.

Mitch Mustain was far from a bust for Arkansas. Didn't he win like 8 consecutive games as a Freshman? Since that time, he's been a pretty big bust... but I thought he did well at ARK.

Didn't he lead you guys to 8-0 as a true freshman, before he was pulled? What might he have done had he not transferred?

He was only the QB for his true freshman year...and when he was the QB didn't the Razorbacks go 10-0?

He's been in college football for 3 years now and he's 3rd on USC's depth chart behind 2 freshmen.
He's not that good.

Recently, Mike D'Andrea came in with a ton of hype, but injuries forced him back. We had another LB come in with him named AJ Hawk, but he wasn't going to be anything compared to D'Andrea.

Auburn - Leon Hart was a 5-star, correct?

Well, RP did win an SECCG for us. But I think its safe to say overall the guy didn't do what he was supposed to do.
Xavier Carter was another huge disappointment, on the football field anyway. Not on the track.

Yea, Xavier Carter...5-star WR signed by Saban. Guy was the fastest player in the country. I think he scored 1 TD.

Schaeffer...I agree. He couldn't make it happen at Tennessee and didn't make it happen at Ole Miss.

Raven Gray.
5 star. Touted as the best JUCO d-lineman in the country. Will never play a down.

A good coach would've found a way to use his talents better, but a bust nonetheless.
