You guys gotta admit that LSU did the SEC proud today..

I know that a loss is s loss and a 14 point one may look pretty steep but we had a 5 point lead midway through the second half and just had a few too many late turnovers and some cold shooting right at the end. We hung with arguably the best team in the country in their backyard today. I know everyone including me thought it could get ugly but we looked them eye to eye and made the earn that win. UNC had to play extremely well to pull this one out.

Its still sad that the SEC is out of the NCAA tournament before the Sweet 16 even gets here. First time since 1989.

well i know it's been since 96 since our final four trip but i think we can make a good run next year if we keep everyone.

LSU might have done LSU proud, but certainly the SEC has nothing to be proud about this tourney.

I agree, the SEC should be in no way, shape, or form proud about anything from this season. Most people predicted that the SEC would not do anything in March, and they didn't. The SEC was god awful this year.

Word is that we're about to interview Grant.
I want Anderson. I think that we have some good players and I think Green will be one of the best bigs in the SEC next season. Just missing that minor detail to put it all together. I great head coach.
From the outside, what will the rest of the SEC think of the hire if we land Anderson?

Is Anderson the mizzou coach? You would think with the 2 mill or so we're willing to pay there would be a lot of interest in the job. Why do I keep hearing about calipari and izzo?

Blah. Neither will come here. I can see a few points as to where Cal might, but it's not going to happen.
Would be awesome if Calipari came and Cousins signed with Bama too.
Pipe dream though.
Anderson is the man we want though. His style is what Alabama needs!

Not like the SEC got any favors...no way a reg season Conf champ should have to play a #1 seed UNC in the 2nd round...LSU should have been a 6 seed and Miss St at least a 10 and Tenn should have been a 7 or...8 at worse!

What was State seeded that year in 96 during their final 4 run?
