Long grain, bought at Kroger’s. I grew up poor. I never heard of basmati nor Jasmine rice until I joined the Navy

No rice with either of those. The only way to eat rice is in a bowl with salt, pepper amd butter
The only dishes that need rice is jambalaya ,rice pudding and stir fried rice

Jasmine. Ever so slightly al dente. I like my grains like I like my women - thicc with a little chew to them.
