If tweet fails to load, click here. From after a-day. I've probably said it a thousand times at this point and don't mean to sound like a broken record, but the dude gets it. I hope the stars align for us with him because they will eventually somewhere.

theres been a lot of bullshite talk lately about “culture change” and how every new staff claims it’s happening
but you gotta admit, going from Freezus piping in gospel music at practice and helplessly throwing up his hands heavenward when things go wrong to “Fe” is about as drastic a culture change as you’ll ever see
ETA: and Goulash’s mom was kind of a Baltic babe back in the day:

I've been wrong so many times lately I won't even pretend to know what makes a good coach anymore but former players seem to love him and he is very detailed so I'm cautiously optimistic

I get that. I just support the coach we have until it fails. I'm usually one of the last to concede it's failing, just the Posibarner in me.

Yea, I am in that same boat. At least I actually like this one. Cant say that about the last one. It will make me more patient with him. I honestly didnt dislike Harsin when he got hired. It just didnt take long before I didnt like him.
Great words. "Cautiously Optimistic"

I am also cautiously optimistic. I try to be supportive of each coaching hire but when its wrong, its wrong. I was sure that Harsin would fail before his plane landed in Auburn. I just didn't see any evidence that he could do the job. I feel better about the Golesh hire. At least he will put in the effort. I also think he will make some improvements to the culture

I would say that having been burned by the last two hires I am very leery of giving a big endorsement to a coach before he proves himself at Auburn.
I do like several things about Golesh; positive and tough attitude, wants to work hard and wants his players to work hard, had OC success in the SEC,….
The biggest concern I have is how bad Brown looked at A-day and no one seemed to be that concerned about it, not Brown, not Golesh,….

To me, this is a really good sign that Golesh can turn us around.
