Ohhh okay, I think I finally understand how this works now ??

LSU loses 10-7 to Bethune-Cookman = program is dead, season over, sell the stadium, start a GoFundMe for a rebuild.

Florida loses 13-7 to the same team = “that’s baseball, man… midweek games don’t matter… just experimenting with the lineup.”

Glad we cleared that up. I was worried there might be some hypocrisy, but nope—just completely rational, consistent analysis across the board

Not the best time for this thread. We haven’t just lost to Cookman. We’ve taken L’s left and right in the midweek. Even last night was a damn battle. One lost isn’t bad. 5 or 6 or 7 to those teams is another story.

Bethune-Cookman is a damm good baseball team that will make some noise in the post season. They can damn sure hit the baseball.

I am happy to see it for the guys in that program.

You completely missed the entire point.

Yes, LSU has dropped more than one midweek this year. Cool. That still doesn’t change anything I said.

Teams have stretches where they look like absolute garbage-multiple midweek losses, bad series, whatever-and then turn around and make a run. It happens every single year. Acting like a handful of midweek L’s is some irreversible death sentence is just lazy.

The point is the reaction. LSU does it and it’s “they’re broken,” “season’s over,” “exposed.” Another team stacks up the same-or worse-and suddenly it’s “midweeks don’t matter,” “just getting reps,” “long season.”

So yeah, LSU hasn’t been perfect. Nobody’s arguing that. Just amazing how “context” only exists when it’s not LSU. Funny how that works.

Apparently they have some very talented players. No doubt.

We just had this conversation regarding Dallas Baptist the other day. These small schools can be dangerous when they have good coaches.

the few Florida fans posting here probably don't get Serraneaux as hard as the angry LSU fans do.

When LSU is having a down year fans will rub it in our face...that's what happens when you have been the best program since the 90's. The fact that we have only won 1 sec series out of 5 and being swept once justifies the crap we are getting from other fans.

The difference is lsu lost to Bethune cookman, mcneese, ohh lala, northeastern, and lost a series to Sacramento state who most people didn’t know even existed.

All that on top of getting your arse swept by Ole Miss. after talking all that shite.
You suck and look ridiculous per usual.

"That's baseball" indeed happens. Florida just came off a convincing series win against UGA so they get a little more grace. LSU is making it a habit.

I felt the same way when Ole Miss lost to Memphis then proceeded to get swept by MSU. They've turned the corner, at least temporarily. It's a weird season and still plenty of time for LSU to turn it on.

LSU claims to be a baseball school, Florida doesn't. There is your difference.

Midweek games don't matter, except sometimes. Got it now?

UCLA had their streak broken last night. For some reason, I was kinda rooting for them to break the record.

I think the major difference between Florida and LSU this year is that Florida can beat anyone in a series, but they can also lose to anyone.

LSU just sucks.

No one has been talking shite unless you’re just soft or pointing at a few individuals. If you’re talking about talking shite before our series with Ole Miss you literally dreamt that lol.

You need some gifs or inside jokes or something to make this not look like it's just a vagina bleeding all over my screen.
