No wonder there's no exit fee for SEC charter members.

I wish we could get rid of State, Ole Miss, Missouri, and Arkansas and replace them with Virginia, Duke, UNC, and Miami. But then again, I’m an elitist.

Mississippi state has as many wins in the 12 team playoff era postseason as Georgia. Need to get rid of Georgia too.

Bro. I’m not trying to be a dick but your university is located in arguably the worst state in America. Deep down, you really have to know that you don’t contribute much.

State hasn’t even had a winning season much less an appearance in the CFP.

You’re just still mad about the Rebels whipping that UGA arse in the Sugar Bowl and being Kirby’s crypnotyte.

Sadly in the first year of NIL it’s not incredibly far off.

Selmon and the AD have done a great job at fixing that though. We spent just under 13 on last years team and I’ve heard just north of 20 for the 2026 team. Selmon has been able to raise more money for athletics than any AD we’ve ever had which surprised the hell out of me.

The hole we have had to dig out of post the death of Mike Leach would be tough for any football program but especially us.

We will never be a top half of the SEC spender or compete for the playoff year in and year out but we have the ability to be a 5-8 win program that’s respectable. Hell, we were three plays away from going 8-4 last year

I’ve seen my school win two national championships and 6 SEC championships in football during my life. What about you?

You have the right mentality for it. I remember when I felt that way about LSU football.
