Consensual Romantic Relationships Policy

"Romantic and/or sexual relationships may create an appearance of impropriety that is contrary to the interests of The University of Alabama ("University"). Even though a relationship may have been consensual at its inception, a significant power differential exists when one party to the relationship has the authority to influence the pay, work assignments, performance reviews, benefits, or working conditions of an employee

....

Employees shall not engage in or solicit consensual romantic and/or sexual relationships with any employee or student over whom they exercise any academic, administrative, supervisory, evaluative, counseling, advisory, or extracurricular authority or influence.

....

Failure to comply with this policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination. "

Max, you may have to dumb this down for me. Is this in reference to Oats announcing he is engaged? Did this person at one time work in the sports department at Bama?

Yes, she worked for Alabama until 2022.

The rant’s official narrative is that they were involved before she left, but like the REC being the Illuminati, the SEC office being run by Alabama, Alabama always paying players while their school did not, and the officials giving Alabama preferential treatment, no one has any actual proof.

LSU fans getting mad about this while hiring Kiffin is deeply amusing.

You need to get out more. It’s a problem when you wake up everyday with Alabama in your first thoughts.

Brilliant job of selective quoting there. You seem to have left out this section:

quote:

It is the responsibility of the parties who are or have ever been involved in such a consensual romantic and/or sexual relationship to update their Relationship Disclosure in the Conflict of Interest Disclosure system.

This disclosure will be reviewed by staff in the Office of Compliance, Ethics, and Regulatory Affairs (CERA), who will contact the HR Business Partner to report the relationship and begin taking steps necessary to ensure immediate compliance with this policy.

CERA staff and the HR Business Partner will assist the employee and the appropriate parties to ensure compliance. Compliance may be achieved in a number of ways, including, but not limited to:

A. The voluntary transfer or reassignment of one party so the improper employee/employee or student/employee relationship no longer exists; or

B. Excluding the employee from having any influence over the provision of academic progress, aid, benefits, or services to the student; or

C. Excluding either employee from participating in discussions or decisions that might influence the pay, work assignments, performance reviews, benefits, or working conditions of the other employee. When appropriate, this should be achieved by developing an approved Management Plan as referenced in the Institutional Conflict of Interest/Conflict of Commitment Policy.

You realize "failure to comply with the policy" means the entire policy, not just the select blurb you chose?

So, can you give us a complete breakdown of when they started dating and whether they updated their Relationship Disclosure in the Conflict of Interest Disclosure system, as required by the policy?

Pretty poor trolling effort unless he was just banking on no one clicking the link he provided to read the entire policy

Then it should be easy for you or another Tiger to post it and prove when the relationship began. Yet no one has.

One of the rules is to whip LSU’s arse in sports on the regular and we’re damn good at that.

I'm not a smart man. I just know Oats confessed that he was banging her while he was still married and she was employed by the University of Alabama. He actually said it on a podcast.
