I’m pretty sure UVA wanted her years ago - and by that I mean when we were on the ascendancy but before we had won any national titles. If she turned them down then, there is no reason to think she won’t now.
We’re simply willing to outbid any school for her.
The only way I think she leaves is if there were an NBA offer or something.

Bc I see uva just fired their coach after making the sweet 16. But Roy Williams said the same thing when Dean Smith retired at Unc. Roy said he wouldn’t leave Kansas. After a couple of unsuccessful hires at Unc, Roy Williams’s left Kansas for Unc.

It’s not impossible but I think it’s too late in her career to rebuild somewhere else. Just my opinion though.

It's not too late in her career imho ... she could rebuild wherever she goes.
She's not attached to UVA. She has no real feelings for UVA because there were times when she was ignored by UVA. UVA could have hired her when she was at Temple yet they made a conscious decision not to do so.
Hyman courted her and the rest is history.
More importantly though, and she's told us this, she is very committed to the girls she recruits. She is not going to leave them. She gets attached to each and every member of every class she signs .... and she hangs with them through thick and thin.

Dawn is just 55. A rebuild wouldn’t take long bc she’s established now just like when Mulkey took over LSU.
