You guys have to know it’s embarrassing having such a small field. You could move the back no?

I thought about this too. My parents have porch tickets and when I was back there leaving the other weekend, there’s at least 10-15 feet they could move and still be viable use behind the scoreboard. Maybe? I don’t know if there are city codes or anything preventing that, but there is a road that goes behind the stadium and of course the train tracks a bit further. No sure tbh.

And why not get real fricking grass while we are at it?

That topic and explanations were explained ad nauseam.

The obvious answer is that’s how these teams stack wins, build RPI, host regionals and get to Omaha.
Vandy, Tennessee, UGA, Auburn in particular.

No they have not.
You have a grass football field. You can have a grass baseball field.

Why not put a big wall if short fences, Auburn did this and it works

One can throw Turf down and pretend to give a shite, while not actually giving a shite. Its a Tennessee thing, shawty

Foley Field in Athens being “small” has been debunked. Our LF foul pole at 350’ is the deepest in the conference; 402’ to CF is the second deepest and 314’ to RF is deeper than Mississippi State for sure and Vandy I think. It may be within a foot.

…Which other teams/fans have complained about with our FB field if a player goes down. It’s one thing or another. Look, I got my degree in business, not in engineering nor agriculture, but why does it even matter? If it rains or anything like that you can play the game earlier? LSU grand slams there tonight. So, if anything, it’s a batting practice if that’s the case and has no change in the game play.

Translation…as my previous post stated, I don’t. So, I was agreeing with you? Unless you missed that? There are multiple theories why and I don’t have the knowledge on the matter to acknowledge nor comment on. But, my post stands it’s been talked about ad nauseam. Get your boyfriend’s panties out of your arse and lighten up a bit. I was agreeing with what you said.

Here is a reasonable idea, how bout the ncaa make all baseball parks have the same dimensions. Basketball courts and football fields have uniform dimensions.Duh what is the problem?

Then there is the Green Monster in Vanderbilt. That Ball Park is tightly squeezed inside large surrounding buildings.
MLB parks do not all have the same dimensions either.
Let Tennessee have a shorter field; enjoyed the extra HRs that prolly would been long outs at the Box

I agree.I've made the suggestion that every baseball field should probably have the same measurements. It would make sense like it does in every single other sport
