The only way NCST can recover from this is if they kick the shite out of will wade and that will never happen. Not that CWW wouldn’t be an easy fight, they just won’t do it.

Now that is amazing. I never realized just how full of shite some coaches are. The exact same words, the exact same message. No imagination.

Never seen a dude make so much money off one Sweet 16 appearance. At least Mike White went to an Elite 8

The boosters making these hiring and firing decisions for LSU do not care what anyone thinks.

Nor should they. The LSU boosters function is to support LSU not NC State.

Wade should have never been fired. His heart was at LSU the entire time.

At least you realize boosters are who are making the coaching decisions at LSU. That always works out great. Plus the governor has his thumb on it.

I don't know what that salty sports reporter thinks he's proving with that montage. Wade genuinely intended to hit the portal hard, produce immediate improvement, and take a dumpster fire team to the NCAA tournament in his first year at NC State--which he did. He intends to do the same thing at LSU, so he makes similar comments at his introductory press conference there. What do they expect him to say? "While I produced a quick turnaround in Raleigh, I expect sustained, extended mediocrity here in Baton Rouge?"

I definitely remember your wishcasting about how the governor was going to ruin LSU's pursuit of a football coach.

And then you said LSU would hire Frank.

And then you said Kiffin was a bad hire.

And then you said McMahon wouldn't get fired.

You're about as accurate as the Ole Miss media at this point.

If you think LSU is unusual in having boosters with a large say in coaching decisions, I don't know what to tell you.

One thing I have been right about the whole time; regardless of how much LSU spends; is that they are a mid-tier SEC program in everything but baseball and 5 years of Nick Saban recruiting classes.

Remember the hundreds, maybe thousands, of threads when you said Brian Kelly was going to succeed at LSU? And I said “nah, dude is above average but not elite.” We went round and round over that for two years.

And now that Landry, Graves, and Spant have decided on Lane and Wade; money will be getting funneled from baseball and womens basketball to basketball and football.

Mulkey is pissed. Johnson is in a precarious spot.

You aren’t alone. Auburn also suffers from alums making coaching decisions.

Alabama did after Bear Bryant and it was a disaster.

Tennessee did after Fulmer and it was a disaster.

You are correct, many schools have suffered from it. Rarely does it work. It takes a decade of pain before the university will grow a pair and stand up against the boosters. LSU is about 5 years in.

So you are saying you never said Brian Kelly would succeed at LSU?

If you say yes, you are a liar. If you say no, you are a pussy. Quite the decision for you.

This guy spent all last summer saying how Brian Kelly was better than every other coach. Then again, you can't expect much normal reasoning from a fake fan

This issue for you, much like VFL67, is a lack of reading and comprehension.
Link it and prove me wrong.

I just figured it out.

AHM is an lsu fan the same way the caw is a Florida fan. We’re pessimistic fans. We nit pick and complain and even troll about our favorite program

The difference is I’m aware of who I am, ahm is in denial about being an lsu fan.

It's interesting that Bama fans will claim everyone else has boosters running the show.

While they'll also tell you that Alabama would never hire Kiffin because he fricked a booster's wife.

So boosters apparently run the show in Tuscaloosa, according to them.
