Has Any Team Ever Gone From Preseason #1 to Last in the SEC?

LSU baseball began the season as the preseason pick to win the SEC. They were preseason #2 in most national polls. They currently sit in 14th place in the SEC, one game away from South Carolina and Missouri for last place. They have a real shot at finishing in dead last, just like they did in basketball.
Has any SEC team in any sport ever begun the season as the #1 team but finished in last place? I don’t believe it has happened recently, maybe never.

At least LSU stayed ranked for a few more weeks. Texas A&M was out of the top 25 in like 2-3 weeks.
