McMahon is being fired today, Wade hasnt been announced at all yet
The move was always to hold onto McMahon until Wade was in the bag, they got Wade in the bag yesterday so today they fire McMahon and then announce Wade sometime after.
They were protecting themselves if they moved on McMahon early and then Wade stayed at NC St they had no backup option.

Just because something hasn’t been publicly announced doesn’t mean it hasn’t been privately figured out and. Not everything that goes on is our business. But soon you’ll see everything that is going on. Clearly McMahon needed to be fired and you know that.

LSU is the only program that can do this kind of shite and still find a way to succeed and excel. This should be common knowledge at this point.

As someone who assists with personnel management, when it comes to keeping an organization running smoothly I often find it advantageous to have the replacement lined up and ready to go before removing the existing person.

I mean it’s true.
We are the only school that can look like a complete train wreck in a coaching search and come out smelling like roses and we did it twice in 6 months.

Why would not firing our current coach until they knew they had their 1 target bother me?
Of course I'd rather them not prematurely fire a coach if they didnt know 100% they could get their only target, that is a way worse ending if wade ends up staying at NC ST and we had already fired McMahon without being in contact with other coaches yet.
If the plan was to hire anybody, sure, McMahon should have been fired a while ago, that wasnt the plan. The plan was to get Will Wade in the bag and once thats done fire McMahon. If they couldnt get Wade they werent going to get rid of McMahon because they had just 1 target in mind. The whole reason the president of McNeese is here, the old AD got fired, all points to them aligning to get Wade back.

You either need to fire the coach or not. Seems cut and dry to me. If McMahon was retained after you openly pursued tPear, do you think all would be forgiven? You don’t know much about human nature if you actually think so.
