Since 1972.
Dale Brown .595
John Brady .580
Trent Johnson .511
Johnny Jones .556
Will Wade .673
Matt McMahon .462
Any more questions about why LSU would rehire Wade?

The McMen will not stand for this.

Man what could have been with that Covid canceled team. They were ready for a run that year.

So your most successful MBB coach since 1972 (by winning %) had 1 25+ win season & a single Sweet 16 appearance in 5 years.

Always laugh at this term, in part because I don't think they actually exist (who could defend a 17-55 record?).
But the irony is, McMahon is actually a great guy and solid coach who came to LSU at the worst possible time. He really should have left after seeing the fundraising apparatus wanted WW back.

Oh boy. Another post on LSU coaching moves. Just what I came here for.
Currently there are 9 posts on the front page of tRant about Pear coming back to LSU. 5 times OP was a LSU fan, 4 times it's a 'Bama fan.
If LSU wants Wade back, then I truly hope they get him. But for the most part... I'm basically over it.

You could argue it's Dale Brown despite his lower overall winning %. His 3-year peak from 78-81 was a 45-9 SEC record with a Final 4, Elite 8, and Sweet 16 appearance.

Be the change you want to see, then. Start a thread about why Bert got away from those massive O-Lines at Arkansas. I thought he was onto something after that 2015 beatdown, but then it all went to shite.

Why did you get rid of him in the first place?

Don't put it like that and he looks a lot better.

I would be happy just to make the tournament at this point.
Also , has Tennessee ever made it to the final 4?
