Guards
Jordan Smith
JJ Andrews

Forward
Abdou Toure

Centers

Possible Returners
Ewin
Richmond
Knox
Wagner
Sealy
Semedo
Rtail

I think the writing is on the wall for Sealy and Wagner. Sealy Especially if Knox stays and we land stokes. Knox, Toure, Stokes means 0 minutes for him.

I hope we can talk Richmond into one more year and wouldn’t object if DJ wanted to stick around.

If Ewin and Semedo stay that means you have to invest in a bruiser type front court player. Bidunga from Kansas would fit that roll well.

Then maybe another that fits the Brazile mold like the kid from Oregon who’s hitting the portal.

I think there's enough potential in Sealy that they will try to get him to stick around. He just needs a little more strength and confidence, both attainable.
Wagner, it depends on how many spots Cal wants to fill. Wagner was not as effective early in the year, but showed some good things when he got on the floor lately.
Just my opinions. Your mileage may vary.

I thought Ewin was a grad transfer? Didn't think he had eligibility left.

Cal has talked up Sealy enough to make me believe he’s definitely gonna stay.

Talked him up today with McAfee, said he’ll play & AZ didn’t know how to prep for him.

Richmond isn't projected to be drafted and isn't in the top 100 for 2026, but is #29 in the first round for 2027. I'd say he's coming back almost for sure.

The wildcard is Thomas, most have him early 2nd round. We could convince him to stay I would think. Draftroom has him #34, ESPN #38. Don't rule out Meleek returning.

He should probably start getting his first name right though. Kept calling him Malique Sealy on the Pat McAfee Show

The Taliban Brazile era is over. Let’s go get some big studs.

1st stop, Lawerence Kansas.

I wouldn't waste the money on Cyril but that's me. Bench player sure but he'll want more than he's actually worth.

Kwame on the other hand, top big in portal and a top portal player period. Throw the bag!

We need some veteran players. 24-25 year old men that can defend. That's all I want.

Go to Yugoslavia and the old Soviet bloc and get some 23 yrs old Euro-league dudes.

Front court has got to be 7' vets built like trucks.

Feel like we've been asking for this since early Miss era.

Sealy had the best defensive set against Peat all night and he showed flashes of serious 1 on 1 defense ability when he did play this year. Definitely gets lost but that’s part of not playing and being a freshman along with our generally terrible team defensive scheme.

Letting a 6-7 dude go that can defend and run the floor is tough for me if he’s cheap.

Unless we plan on having a 20 million dollar 12 man rotation I’m not sure how he stays if we land Stokes.

If Billy and Maleek return that is your 4 guard spots taken. Smith, Andrews, Thomas, Billy

Knox, Toure and Stokes would plug the 3 spot.

You still have to pick up your 4’s & 5’s

You’ll need 4 there.

Thats 11 players.

It’s officially portal season for the Hogs.

This is where things stand.

I’M AWARE that guys like Acuff will not be here next year, this chart tracks official announcements only.

There have been conflicting reports about Ewin’s eligibility, but it’s my current understanding he will have another year.

Three 5star freshmen guard/wings incoming.
Need to replace size and a lot of scoring.
A few return-or-leave decisions to be made.

This. We need a couple Nick Pringle (last nights’s version, but healthy and not a whistle magnet) or Kamani Johnson (as each year passes we don’t have one like him, I appreciate him that much more) types. Older mid-major bigs that have something to prove and don’t need the offense to run through them.

Is there new news on Stokes? His final 2 were Kentucky and Kansas I thought? Don't think we've been a finalist for him for a minute now.

Also I think Wagner can go. Not worth the scholarship and his role won't be much again next year with who we have coming in again. His performance last night sealed his fate. Probably best for both sides.

I think both Knox and Wagner could use a change of scenery. Neither would be featured here next year. If either have NBA aspirations they need to move on.

If they are happy to be role players then you’d like to have them. If they want to average 20 points a game this isn’t the place to do it.
