The fact that Tenn is all in on men's basketball but has never made a Final Four is pretty wild.

basketball this year

It clearly states that this was for last year, not this year.

Oats is getting his money worth. Auburn is not. UK is not.

Why is this wild? Wouldn't you expect them to spend tons of money to improve?

I don't believe this OU source, seems to be trying to downplay what the Sooners spent.

Oklahoma landed a top 10-12 transfer portal class last offseason, there is no way they spent that little to get it.

Operational budget probably doesn’t include NIL

Operational budget isn't NIL.

Trying to compare operational expenses is nearly impossible since every school categorizes differently. It's a fun thing to look at, but probably not very accurate.

We spent $20M for that???

I don't believe NIL #s very much. They seem to always be inflated for everybody.

Interesting that Kentucky lost to Alabama and Georgia in the regular season with a roster that cost more than both put together.

Yeah, and I think their basketball team just turned down an NIT invite.

Much like Texas football, they don't seem to understand just yet that they haven't been relevant for the greater part of 20 years.

Without reading the thread yet, sure it bears repeating that operating budget does NOT include NIL.

Simply what the athletic department publishes as operating expenses for the programs... staff, facilities, travel etc

NIL would be a lot more interesting.

Isn't Cuban basically funding all the Indiana sports?

Are you saying Fernando Mendoza has ties to Raúl and possibly Fidel Castro?
