And will any make the F4?

Last year's S16 was unprecedented with how many SEC teams dominated the field in the first 2 rounds.

Florida is a lock and only team with a chance of a F4.

I like Alabama, Arkansas, and Vandy's odds

Tennessee is a maybe

Hogs make a run and win it all! Acuff goes down as the greatest hog ever!

We saw this before with Derrick Rose - I don't think Acuff and the team around him can carry Arkansas all the way

I think Arkansas has a puncher's chance. That said, none of the #1 seeds have any glaring flaws.

But yes, Florida has - by far - the best shot at a F4 appearance.

Alabama likely plays Texas Tech in Round 2... probably the most dangerous 5 Seed in the tournament (they managed to beat Arizona at Arizona). If we come out against them like we did Ole Miss, we're not winning that game at all.

If we do beat them we run into Michigan. Not going to lie, it'll take a miracle to beat the Wolverines this year. They're REALLY good. So it's hard to imagine making it past the Sweet 16.

I think Vandy being opposite of Nebraska is easier than Alabama being opposite Texas Tech, despite Nebraska being a higher seed. Nebraska's not bad by any stretch though... not an easy out.

That's why I was pissed at how lackadaisical we came out against Ole Miss. The Rebels were there to play, and we just figured we'd show up and win. That loss cost us a 3 seed, and the best shot we would have had to make the Elite 8 IMHO.

SEC teams' odds to reach the S16 (just my personal opinion):

--1/2--
Florida
--1/1--
Alabama
Arkansas
Tennessee
Vanderbilt
--3/1--
Kentucky
--10/1--
Georgia
Missouri
Texas A&M
Texas

SEC teams' odds to reach the E8 (just my personal opinion):

--3/2--
Florida
--4/1--
Arkansas
--9/2--
Alabama
Tennessee
Vanderbilt

Anything could happen, these are just best guesses based on what's likely to happen.

For example, it's possible Alabama loses in the first round — depending on the status of JT Toppin, it's more likely they escape Texas Tech in the R32 and get blown the frick out by Michigan in the S16.

In all seriousness, there's a real chance that Vandy may be Florida's toughest matchup in that region.

They probably make the sweet sixteen but lose to Arizona in a 10 point loss.

Yeah, that's both of our faults for playing down to a four-seed and having to meet the one-seed in the S16.

Toppin is done until conference play next season, Christian Anderson (C4) injured his groin on that shitty glass court at the Big 12 Tourney. Tech says he is good to go but we'll see. If C4 is fine, they beat Akron, anything short of that they are done.

If Bama/Tech meet in Round of 32 it's a toss up now, both teams can light up the scoreboard. I am thankful for Holloway

Too low.. 67 to 1 would be more accurate imo..

We’ll have to beat..

NC State 50%
BYU (NET 23) 30%
Gonzaga (NET 7) 10%

Not gonna happen…

Honest question:

What did yall do to Mark? He lead the SEC in scoring before going down there. Tf?

I didn’t watch many games this year or last year, so I don’t really know for sure, but I feel like he forces too many contested shots..

It would help a lot to have a good point guard to get him the ball as he is cutting to the hoop.. he is good in that role.. and spotting up..
