uh....Derrick Rose? Without the injuries that guy was on track to be a top 10 player all time potentially.

Sorry, but this kid isn't better than Rose

Acuff is playing a lot of hero ball for sure and putting up big numbers

but it kind of feel like he has to for Arky to win those big games

Yeah, what does that guy know. I’d rather take your word for it.

yeah those numbers don't matter. Maybe statistically he is the best, but until he shows out in the postseason, or in the NBA...its Rose

To add to the numbers, in the postseason his PPG rose to 20.8, 6.5 Rebounds, and 6 assists. He took that memphis team to a national championship, and was the #1 overall pick.

Ill also throw John Wall in strong consideration. He was incredible under Calipari. SEC POY, SEC ROY, Led UK to an Elite 8.

It just seems incredibly premature to crown this guy as Caliparis best when some many great guards have come through his system

Rose dragged Memphis to a NCAA championship game appearance.

Acuff would have to at least carry Arkansas to a final four.

That guy knows how to push a hot take on national tv that gets clicks/reactions. Surely you arent taking something someone says on one of shows as an informed take are you?

It may be true, but if Perkins told me the sky was blue, I would have to triple check it.

Devin Booker strangely is off this list, but wasn't he coming off the bench at Kentucky?

Cal is riding him like a rented mule. It wouldn't be the first time he wore the legs off his PG. Those 50 minutes last night will show up in when it counts.

Acuff is used to playing 5 games a week sometimes.
He will be fine. 18 yr olds can play 2 basketball games a week.

Rest him up a day and he will be ready to roll Saturday.

He reminds me of Cam Thomas(LSU/Nets/Bucks)who only lasted one year in college. I think he is a bit better now than Thomas was at that stage, but only time will tell

If you look at their numbers as a freshman in college Acuff is having a better season statistically.

Oh absolutely not, I said I’d take it from you since you are clearly more knowledgeable than anyone else, and you post on a rant message board.

Yeah, he should definitely bench him because he’s far too productive.

Any coach with a brain would give this kid the green light as long as he’s doing what he’s doing. And he doesn’t like being taken out of the game so no need in pissing him off.
