What is it going to take for you personally to stop watching college football?

NIL is okay but there needs to be a spending limit. The transfer portal is a disaster and unlimited eligibility is the straw that broke the camel’s back.

To completely stop watching...not sure.

To give up buying season tickets and donating for the "privilege" to purchase every year...getting close.

I mean I can watch The Masters if it's on without really being invested in it so I could do the same with college football.

All I do is watch college football. Won’t stop.

During the offseason I tune into tigerdroppings for Alabama posters to update me on LSU football.

Yeah, I get that. I could watch college football the same way I watch the NFL. Not invested at all.

Frankly, I have been migrating away from college sports for a few years now. I quit the NFL completely when they decided to go woke law enforcement haters. The last stupid bowl was just icing on the cake.

I mean...it's not like it can be ruined for you anymore than it has been.

If you haven't given up watching Arkansas football yet, pretty sure nothing will make you

It really pisses me off that we have 26 year olds playing college football now, though.

My viewing has already dropped tremendously. NIL doesn't bother me, it's the transfer portal, conference expansion , and playoff that ruined my excitement.

I used to watch every game I could, now I pretty much only watch LSU games.

The transfer portal makes it where you don't know your team year to year. Conference expansion suck, I couldn't care less about watching Oklahoma play state. And the playoff is terrible, no way a 3 loss team should have a chance at a National Title

I used to be an avid CFB and NFL fan. Watched games all day. Fantasy sports. You name it.

Since 2017, I haven’t watched more than one NFL game a year. I watched none this year and the last (including the Super Bowl).

It’s been kind of nice. I started watching other sports and I’ve grown to like them. I’m a big UFC fan and now I’m going to more hockey games.

I still watch CFB, but not near as much as before. My enthusiasm has dropped since NIL and all the changes.

It's getting there. 43 new LSU transfers that dgaf about LSU and can haul arse next year. It's not really The LSU Tigers anymore, just Some Guys who play at LSU's stadium 7 times per year.

College football is like being in an abusive relationship. No mater how many times they break your heart, you just can't make yourself stop loving them.

This is one of my main complaints. Absolutely zero pride in the school itself, which is what makes college sports so special.

I’ll probably watch for a few more years, just not as emotionally invested as before. Honestly I could take it or leave it. I never thought I’d say those words. I know kids have always been paid but this current atmosphere is disgusting. I was a D2 scholarship athlete. I got tuition, shoes, gear and a work-study job at the gym making $3.50 an hour.

If you love watching the actual game of football, you’ll be just like me, and you’ll continue watching for a long time.

I actually hate the rules changes more than the portal and cash being paid. I miss safeties bearing down on WR’s running routes in the middle of the fired and knocking the living shite out of them, making them think twice about running routes in the middle of the field.

I hate the targeting penalties. I hate all the stoppage of plays for constant reviews. I wish coaches only had 2 challenges per game and a coaches challenge is the only way to review the play. I hate all the constant holding penalties in the game now. I hate that defenders get roughing the passer penalties for just breathing on the QB.

But… there needs to be a fixed rule that every player has 5 years to play 4. Period. No exceptions. Players get one unrestricted transfer during their college career. A second transfer gets a 6 game ineligibility, and a 3rd gets an entire year of ineligiblity.

The cash thing doesn’t bother me. It’s not my cash.
