SP: "Bye week came at great time for us"
Revealed that Hall's taped up index finger on his shooting hand was because he had 3 stitches. This was the first I heard why it was taped and seemed to bothering him, I may missed this if it was stated previously.
Murphy was a "little banged" up but is good.
Overton is fine after the bang to the back of the head he took.

Not injured but apparently still in the dog house...Magwood.
Weekly presser, SP was asked if the week off gave anybody an "opportunity to step up and earn a spot or more playing time". Response was first, a quick correction that "we have an 8 man rotation" (reporter stated a 7 man rotation for the question) and that SP "likes the rotation we've had since we inserted Blake into the line up and we are 5-2 with some really good wins so we're gonna continue to roll with those guys...told those other guys you gotta stay right and stay ready, cause at a moments notice your opportunity / number could get called and you just gotta be ready".
It seems like Magwood may be done for the season? Although seeing him on the sidelines during this stretch, he's looked engaged and excited. Did SP tell him up front he wouldn't see the court again this season for punishment but they would like him to stay for a chance to play next year if he's willing to stick it out and improve his attitude?? It's very confusing to see him smiling and cheering on the bench after being sat now for 7 games.

Could just mean he has good, engaged parents?
If my son goofed up and got rightfully benched for it I'd sure as heck tell him to do the same thing. Cheer on your teammates, listen to the coaches, serve your time, try again next year.

If my son sat for an entire season for anything other than committing a crime - I would force him to transfer out.
I want discipline not banishment.

I hope that is the case, I would like to have him return. In this day and age of "rebuilding rosters", I'm all for keeping players that can contribute and build a nucleus.

Even if he wasn't very good in the minutes he had before acting like an idiot?

Sons need more than a weak dad.

Particularly a weak dad that would enable poor behavior that won't help the kid succeed in life down the road.

IG live bashing the coaches and the top dog Steven Pearl. I think may have called him a bitch or they’re bitches or something like that.
If Steven was in his 17th year coaching maybe you let it slide in year one you drop the hammer. Same as anyone else in the world you frick up with a new boss they drop the hammer if you’ve worked for them 5 years they may let it slide

What about Bashir? Last news was he returned to practice 3 weeks ago.

Magwood's post was in direct connection to a beat reporter tweeting a Pearl quote that "Magwood understands why he was benched"...Something about our team offense is fine but defense has to improve yadda yadda
Magwood quoted that article. The context to calling Pearl a bitch is him saying "bitch let me see you get out there and try to guard me."
By the way recently he has been liking posts on twitter of randos dogging him.
I dont expect him to stay at Auburn. He is from Louisville so that may be where he lands.
