Even after the loss, Bama is 20th in Kenpom. A&M is 27th.
Who you play and how you play them matters. It’s why FL is 6th despite having at least 2 more losses than every other team ranked in Kenpom’s top 13.

Because everyone expected them to lose. Nobody thought A&M would be sitting on top of the SEC. Whipping Georgia will get them ranked. A split this week would keep them ranked.
