I’m unsure if there’s a proper forum for this kind of question.

Are there rivalries amongst SEC teams in baseball, basketball, softball, etc. like we acknowledge exist in fb?

AU/Bama are rivals in any sport or game that they both compete. Doesn't matter if it's bass fishing or tiddly winks.

As far a specific sports rivalries, I don't think we have any outside of bama in baseball. Maybe Tennessee in basketball since the Pearl era began?

Idk how much I’d call it a true rivalry, but I always enjoyed the LSU/Arkansas baseball series each year. Shame we don’t have it this year.

Are there rivalries? Well, I am pretty sure A&M Baseball is still quite displeased with us.

LSU-Tennessee has been a fun baseball rivalry lately, mostly due to Vitello though so not sure how that looks now.

LSU-Arkansas is there as is LSU-Florida, those are more the result of typically good teams playing each other. LSU-Florida have played each other for the natty twice.

LSU-Mississippi State is a good, historical baseball rivalry.

Of course there are. Are you new to the SEC? Tennessee vs Kentucky in BB. Vandy vs Florida in baseball. Ole Miss vs State in baseball. Alabama vs Kentucky in BB. Alabama vs Auburn in any sport. LSU vs State in baseball etc……

We hate Tennessee in anything and everything, so there's that.

I agree that in-state teams would.

I forgot that since ours (GT) is in the ACC, so it doesn't "stand out" as much.

A&M and Texas hate each other in every sport. Not just football. And yes, the PoS in charge of Texas baseball can frick himself. Our fault for hiring a snake and not thinking he would be one

Absolutely

When Dale Brown had LSU basketball rolling, there definitely was a rivalry with Kentucky, and then later with Arkansas. Great, tense, high stakes games between ranked teams, often with conference titles at stake.

Baseball, there's LSU-Miss State going back to the 80s, then LSU-Arkansas since Van Horn got there.
The A&M series has also had some significance and interest over the years.

That's just an LSU perspective, I'm sure other programs have them too

Because of their rich history, Kentucky is everyone’s Super Bowl in basketball.

I would think winning a series versus LSU in baseball would be big.

However, all things considered golf and equestrian are where things are really hashed out rivalry wise.

Honestly Duke vs unc is the only non football college rivalry known nationwide. I’d say Louisville Kentucky bball rivalry was/is pretty intense. Especially when the pitino dynamic was on full display.
