Yeah that's corrupt as hell and according to Dabo the players agent was only willing to sing like a canary for Dabo only if Dabo added an extra 1 year and million more dollars to the contract.

Yep, is this really a trail that the NCAA is willing to go down now that they have opened the door to all this BS with the NIL and Transfer portal. There is no telling what kind of BS is going on behind the scenes with these teams.


If they are going to let teams tattle on each other, they are going to be very busy. And like you said, that means they are going to have to do the same to the big boys, now just the lower tier programs

Contracts. Only way to go. Make the players that bail pay the “buyout”. They want big boy money play by big boy rules.

That’s why University sponsored NIL stuff needs to be abolished. If you can’t manage on 15ish million a year for an amateur team then maybe the NFL needs to start a development league and allow high school grads to participate.

Granted with that said Universities also need to give back to the fans in lowering tickets prices and such. When you are discussing a 100 million dollar budget each year for athletics I don’t think that’s what college sports was intended. Also stop all betting on college games as well.
