Certain media people and r/CFB pissed as usual that Bama is “too high”

Well, those things happen when you make it to the final 8 teams in the playoff. The same team that stomped us went on to do the same exact thing to Oregon.
Hard to put a team in the quarterfinals much lower, especially when the next team at 10 didn't make the playoffs.

Which is stupid. Technically speaking we should be no lower than 8th considering we were one to the final 8 teams.

We were one of the final 8 teams and should be ranked no lower than 8.

Miami was ranked behind us. This is us ranked 8th and bumped a spot because Miami outperformed 7 of the teams ahead of them including us

Maybe... but you seemed to miss the first bowl game we played, and won.
I for one, believe Bama isn't high enough.

Bama first half of season in flashes was top 10. Bama last half of season, all things considered, was not a top 10 team. No.9 is gracious.
