Indiana is a more desirable football program than Alabama in the NIL era.

Indiana’s alumni base is larger, wealthier, and more influential. They are in a wealthier conference and they have a billionaire backing them.

Do really enjoy them lagging behind now that gifting vehicles doesnt do it anymore.

ALL of this applies to UGA as well.

Interesting, huh?

So, Indiana won it all because they paid more?

No, we are on par with Indiana in terms of wealth, size, and prestige. Plus there are 15 Fortune 500 companies headquartered in Georgia. There are zero in Mississippi and Alabama. We are already partnering with some large companies.

It’s also more desirable than Georgia or any SEC team for that matter

I keep seeing this narrative too, and it's unfounded.

Right, because no other teams were paying under the table.

UGA is a dinosaur these days. Poor recruiting class, portal class and still a shitty offense and QB

Maybe. Bloomington is a perfect college town. I lived there for about one year and the town and the campus are just flat out beautiful.
