As someone lucky enough that I could live in any state in the country, he's 100% correct.

Nick Saban is a washed up coward. He knew he couldn’t hack it in the NIL era, and he knew if he stuck around it would tarnish his legacy. So he quit like a little bitch.

I have said this for a while on MSB and got tons of negative reactions.

The B1G literally brought in NIL with the portal to sabotage the SEC roster building. That immediately liquidated half a decade if roster building overnight and allowed them to out spend immediately to win.

Media is mainly Midwestern so they of course supported this because they hate the Southern influence and loved seeing it get drained and in their hopes killed.

Our conference commissioner like an idiot went along with it

Uncapped pay-for-play saved Texas, Texas A&M and Texas Tech too…

None of those programs had any footprint whatsoever outside of the State of Texas before it became legal to beg with a checkbook.

But now they’re signing 5 stars from Florida and Georgia

He's from New York.

He's been absolutely terrible and continues to be terrible.

And all the schools go along with it.

I wonder how much is due to ESPN/Disney influence.

Snakey is a moron. He signed the death warrant for the SEC with this nine conference game crap. Maybe two SEC teams get into the playoffs in a year. Maybe.

There’s only 2 good programs in the SEC. I welcome a 12 game conference schedule.

Yep, just following and doing whatever the Big10 wants, not because it's in the best interest of those he is supposed to represent.

It is an advantage for OSU and Michigan. No one is willing going to live in Pennsylvania.

Correct. They took a wrecking ball to the sport to undo the stranglehold the South (not just the SEC) had on the sport. Sankey signed off on it.

The #2 sport in the country still had national interest left on the table and they were intent on capturing it. But it had to open the gates for the rest of the country to Southern talent.

Kramer was a builder. Slive was a manager. And, Sankey does what the inept SEC administrations tell him. That’s why they unanimously extended his contract after his massive TV deal fail.
