As a Christian and football fan, I am an IU fan today

Not how the season turned out like any of us expected it to. But I take a little comfort in knowing that the winner of the title is going to be a god fearing, team based team. I went back and watched a bunch of IU tape this year and I am so impressed. Those guys love football. It is a total throwback to how it used to be.
It sounds like the rat poison got to them - but I hope they pull it out. frick Miami and their convicts and fake boosters.

We need more McGrath, less holly. In my professional view.

Didn't Hugh Freeze have this too?

Yes but he supplemented with hookers and blow.

Freeze wishes he had a team like that. I encourage you to watch the tape, it’s a 2 decade throw back. These guys play old school fundamental football. It’s a real treat to watch. Of all teams, Indiana lol. This is why college football is the greatest sport in the world.

Nice Biblical term, I guess.

I'm assuming you believe Indiana is and Miami isn't.

Hoosiers, Mendoza, Columbus High, "Adelante!"

I'm too lazy to look it up... but I wonder how many of these guys were even at Indiana two years ago?
People make a big deal about how Indiana has done this because they are "old"... but the cohesiveness and team play is pretty amazing because they haven't played together all that long...
And virtually none of the guys who came in were big superstars at their old school.
Win or lose.. what has happened there is amazing beyond belief... no matter how they did it.

This “God fearing football team” is likely banging every girl on campus, indulging in copious amounts of drugs and alcohol, and only God knows what else.

Not really. And of course, no group that's not religious can truly co-opt the goods of Christianity.

That's heartening to know. Their beliefs are out there but they are very good people unlike mainstream Christians (do as I say, not as I do).

Can god cover 8.5?
That’s the real question.

Like most mainstream Christians and everyone else.

There are God fearing people on both teams just like there are thugs on both teams as well. Mendoza praises God openly but so does Miami’s head coach unlike the proud head coach of Indiana.

Is that guy Steve Sarkisian? He went to BYU iirc.

No lie detected but maybe Cignetti keeps that to himself. Btw, like being open with your faith there is nothing wrong with being openly proud of your work.
