I just don’t get it I thought Alabama recruited itself and not the 2 greatest coaches ever and a frickton of Dodge Chargers.

The notes everyone should be taking is from cignetti. Which is you recruit high school, but you don’t spend big to do so. And if better is in the portal, you recruit over them with no hesitation

And I hate that, as I believe the best way to build a roster is through HS recruiting and relationships.
Now, those relationships mean nothing to the team that lands the recruit out of HS, and everything to the other guys that will offer a better deal after the player has developed some and is ready to play.

If you are final 3 with a kid, and he decides to transfer out a year or two later, your at the top of the list if you have competitive NIL
Better yet, you recruit winners instead of NIL babies. Cignetti has literally created the blue print for the future of college football. It’s no longer about stars out of HS, it’s who wants to actually win in college instead of collecting checks for a couple years off nothing but promise?

Oh frick off, there is nothing pussy about questioning Sam leavitt who would MAYBE be starter quality for us pre injury. Longstreet was a nice addition, but he’s also hasn’t done shite to date

Huh? We’ve spent more $$ total on NIL that LSU has, more $$ per player.
Our average players ranking is just as high.
Are you referring to the QB at Arizona state, or wherever that was dead last in QBR, Dead last in ever possible statistic, and why we didn’t go after him?
