What do you call someone who refuses to allow another to adequately get compensated for work and wants the to be forced to stay on site and labor for them without be compensated?

Oh he can leave. Y’all just have to pay his buyout. Why is LSU not doing the right thing and paying the buyout he is contractually obligated to if he leaves? Seems like a shitty thing to put on a kid who you want to come play for you

Someone who signed a contract.

Join the army, sign that contract and let me know how your argument goes if you decide you changed your mind.

What do you call someone that signed a contract with Ole Miss 10 days ago? Y'all can have him, but you'll be paying his buyout

There aren't any contracts within the NIL world.

If so, feel free to post it.

Let’s clear something up because it’s something I really don’t understand.

You say pay the buyout. At that point, the athlete is either getting paid by LSU what Ole Miss owed him, or he is paying back Ole Miss, right?

I’ve seen it said before that we pay him $1.5 million and his buyout, but that doesn’t make sense.

Oh I guess the Washington QB just decided to be toxic on his way out until they threatened legal action and he backed out. Had nothing to do with that contract he signed

That's got to be great for team chemistry.

Because he (or LSU) doesn’t want to pay the buyout in the contract he signed last week. Same exact thing that happened with the Washington QB

He signed a rev share agreement. Buyout is $300,000. Revenue Share agreements are different than NIL. LSU is going to pay him $1 million and have to pay Ole Miss $300,000 for breaking his rev share agreement.

they can either get on board and perform or they can sit out, not get paid and then their draft status or portal value for next year decreases.

The athletes lose all their leverage when they sign the contract

Remember when LSU was holding Curne’s paperwork and keeping him from entering portal?

Curne didnt even sign a contract w/ LSU

OM just enforcing terms in an contract. Terms his agent advised him were to his benefit
