Why? They have proven to be trash in the new NIL/portal era. For example, let’s take a look at two teams.
24/7 ranked the LSU Tiger’s 2025 transfer portal class as #1 in the country. They ranked the LSU Tiger’s roster talent composite as #6 in the country. LSU went 7-6 and was clearly not as good as 24/7 said they were.
24/7 ranked the Indiana Hoosiers’ 2025 transfer portal class as #25 in the country. They ranked the Indiana Hoosiers’ roster talent composite as #72 in the country. Indiana is undefeated and clearly much better than 24/7 said they would be.

They have no scholarship players at QB or LT, their projected starting LG played TE last year and their RT was the lowest graded lineman in the SEC

Well they wanted to ride the Kiffin Coaster. Now they will get their chance.
Let’s not forget that before Pete Golding arrived, Kiffin averaged 7.7 wins per season in his first 3 seasons. And Kiffin is not huge on overall recruiting. Here is his combined ranking.
