What further proof do fans of the legacy cheating/pay players under the table, bluebloods need to comprehend that CF the way they knew it is over. It’s hilarious all of the melting that’s going on. This era is in its infancy yet some ranters refused to accept the future of college football. Indiana vs. Miami for the natty. Frickin Hilarious!

Well for starters, it’s not college football other than the logo on the uniform.

You’re crazy if you think this resembles any close to an extracurricular activity.

There's an old axiom that if you took all the money in the world and redistributed it equally among all the people in the world, within a decade it would end up right back in the hands of the people who have it today.
I believe that will happen with college football as well. This era of parity will be short-lived, and Alabama, Georgia, Ohio State and others will find a way to swing it back in their favor.

The teams with the most money will still win most of the time . We may have some new elite teams because of new big money boosters. I don’t get using Miami to prove your point . The big 3 schools constantly change who is on top in Florida .

Here is an article showing why some of the playoff schools are spending more.

Probably not the old CF, but there are still idiots in denial. “ It’ll pass in a few years” …. Ok…

A school like Indiana can find a few rich donors and all of a sudden they have as much money as anybody. Time will tell, but I think you are dead wrong.

Miami has won 5 national championships. That’s more than “blue blood” Texas

And they cheated just as bad as anybody back when they were good

The big difference is, there were a lot of programs that were not willing to cheat to the level of a say in Oklahoma, for example. The schools willing to cheat and pay players under the table. We’re getting way ahead for decades and decades. Now the era that were in gives programs a chance to compete on a fairly even playing field. It’s all about how much money you can raise for your program. It’s not going to be about the name brand as much as “Frick you pay me”. A stud player will go play for no name university if they’re willing to pay the most.

True, but it has been a LONG time for them. They’ve always had money, especially under the table/cheat money but now they can tap into as many resources as they need to. Just look at what they are paying Carson back.

it's been a very long time since it did. For a very long time some Universities have been running professional football programs. Very weird

If your theory is correct, wouldn’t the teams with the highest ranked transfer portal classes be playing for the championship instead of Indiana and Miami?

future of college football

Is a future that most fans won’t recognize. Good or bad, the changes are upon us. The traditional powers will still have excellent teams but it’ll be harder to win titles when you have an expanded playoff. And new money teams coming in with the same talent levels. Elite coaching and development will be the key

What if… and hear me out… the reason that it looks like Indiana knows what play the other team is about to run is because they know what play the other team is about to run?

That thread about Indiana having 4 pick sixes on their opponents opening drive was eye opening.

After the Patriots, Astros, and Wolverines all getting caught stealing signs/plays it makes you wonder how often it doesn’t get caught.

Mike Leach even used it to his advantage once.

Mike Leach’s Fake Playbook

If Indiana wins the national championship they will be the first team since the recruiting industry emerged to ever do it with such a lack of elite talent. And it isn’t even close.

Or maybe Cignetti and his staff are just the best coaches in the history of college football.
