Do you think Cig has this type of wins if he was the Head Coach for Colorado, Wake Forest or Arkansas instead of Indiana? Is he that good of a coach?

I don't think he's gay or a communist, so no.

He's a very good coach but I think people underestimate the impact that the age of his team has. Indiana's average age is 23 which would traditionally be a RS Sr. To average 23, you have to have a lot of people older than 23 (or one very old but not the case here) because your freshman class is gonna be 18-19.
Their average age is older than the Philadelphia Eagles. They are effectively an AFL or XFL team.

quote:Uh, yeah... if they got the same level of support and money from donors, and they had the same amount of older transfer players. Indiana isn't some powerhouse in football (usually); I would say they're, at best, the same tier as those programs.

So, they're proof it can be done.

This stat is skewed due to their punter being 27 years old.

Depends. Is Mark Cuban funding those teams in that scenario?

The average age of his roster is 23 years old. maybe that is the new trend , don't recruit out of high school. just the portal

They also execute at a pro level. They lead the entire nation converting 3rd downs, they rarely ever turn the ball over, (they’ve lost only 1 fumble all year) and they are among the least penalized team in the country. Indiana is an execution machine on both sides of the ball.
